This set of Black Crystal Chaplet Beads features 6 beads for each of the Five Holy wounds, accompanied by a Silver Holy Face centerpiece and matching crucifix. The product also includes a fully illustrated pamphlet on how to properly pray the Holy Face Chaplet. Inspired by Sr. Mary of St. Peter, a Holy Carmelite Nun from Tours, France, who received a devotion from our Lord on November 15, 1843. The first 30 beads symbolize the 30 years of Jesus' hidden life and are divided into 5 sets of 6 beads, each representing one of the 5 senses: TOUCH, HEARING, SIGHT, SMELL, and TASTE. Meditating on each decade and sense serves as a reparative homage for the suffering and disrespect endured by Jesus through His Holy Face during His passion.
