San José de Calasanz nació en España en 1557 y murió en 1648. Ordenado el 17 de Diciembre de 1583. Un día Dios se cruzó en su camino y renunció a un porvenir risueño para dedicarse a la educación de los niños pobres. Para él un niño pesa más que cualquier título. Terminará su vida defendiendo la niñez y la bondad de la educación y de la vida religiosa.
St. Joseph of Calasanz was born in 1557 and died in 1648 in Spain. He was on God December 17, 1583. One day God crossed his way and renounced to a pr9omissing future to dedicate himself to the education of the poor children. A child is more important for him that any title. He will end his life defending childhood, the goodness of education, and religious life.
