St. Faustina Tiny Saint
Description
In 1931, Jesus appeared to a Polish nun named Sister Faustina. She recounted the event in her diary: “Jesus said to me, ‘Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the inscription: Jesus, I trust in You… Every soul believing and trusting in My Mercy will obtain it.’” To this day, the message has garnered immense devotion. Understanding Jesus’ desire for the world to grasp the depths of God’s mercy, Pope John Paul II declared that Divine Mercy Sunday woud be celebrated by the Church every year one week after Easter.
