Lady of Guadalupe Miniature Saint Statue

Lady of Guadalupe On December 9, 1531, the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego, an indigenous Mexican peasant, on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City. Speaking in his native Nahuatl language, she asked him to request that the bishop build a church in her honor. When the bishop requested a sign, Mary miraculously imprinted her image on Juan Diego’s tilma — a cloak that remains preserved nearly 500 years later. Her appearance, blending indigenous and European imagery, sparked millions of conversions throughout the Americas. Our Lady of Guadalupe shows us that God’s love transcends all cultures and peoples. Feast Day: December 12 | Patroness of the Americas Read more about Our Lady of Guadalupe, the tilma of Juan Diego, and why she is the mother of the Americas → WHAT MAKES HER SPECIAL This statue is hand-designed by Little Drops of Water and hand-painted in fine resin. She is shown as the Tepeyac image — in a rose gown and star-scattered blue-green mantle, hands joined in prayer and framed by golden rays. Sized to fit on a nightstand, a bookshelf, a desk at work, or the quiet corner of a home altar. Every Miniature Saint Statue from Little Drops of Water is finished by hand, which means each piece carries small variations in shading and brushwork — the mark of real craftsmanship, not mass production. A REFLECTION When Our Lady appeared at Tepeyac she spoke as a mother — tender, close, and unafraid of the small. “Am I not here, I who am your Mother?” she asked Juan Diego. To keep her near is to carry that question close — a reminder that we are loved, watched over, and never far from our heavenly Mother.
