Begginers Prayer
Having made the Sign of the Cross and 
kneeling preferably before the 
Blessed Sacrament or the image of 
Saint Michael the Archangel, 
raising your heart to God, who is present, 
and bowing deeply in spirit, 
you will say every day:
Act of Contrition
My Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true man, 
I am heartily sorry for having 
offended You; I firmly resolve never to sin again, 
to abstain from all occasions 
of sin, to go to confession and do penance. 
I offer You, Lord, my life, works, 
and labors in satisfaction for all my sins. 
Amen.
Daily Prayer:
Lord God of heaven and earth, God of Angels, 
Archangels, and Principalities; God of Powers, 
Virtues, and Dominions; God of Thrones, 
Cherubim, and Seraphim; 
who ceaselessly praise and bless 
Your Holy Name and fulfill the commands of
Your sovereign Majesty, surrounding 
Your exalted Throne, and offering You, 
as a sweet-smelling aroma, 
the incense of our prayers, 
which we now address to You, 
we humbly beg You to accept.
We beseech You, 
through the glory and intercession 
of the glorious Saint Michael, 
that You deign to grant us Your assistance, 
and keep us safe from the snares, 
deceits, and power of Satan and 
all infernal spirits.

Day 16
SAINT MICHAEL, 
EXECUTOR OF DIVINE JUDGMENTS
Let us consider that Saint Michael is one of those celestial 
spirits destined by the Lord to exercise divine judgments. 
They are God's tribunals, judges, and the principal ministers 
of His justice. Observe with great attention how the glorious 
Saint Michael holds this office, in and of itself, because, 
according to a pious author, he is the Judge and president 
who gives the sentence of salvation or eternal damnation 
to all who die. He is called the Prefect of Paradise, because 
without his decree and sentence, no one will be received 
there. 
He is the one who will call all ages with a fearful trumpet to 
come to judgment. This office or dignity of such honor and 
trust is recognized by the Holy Fathers and Doctors in 
Saint Michael; this is affirmed by the Church in the 
ecclesiastical office, and this is also represented by 
the weight and sword with which he is commonly depicted. 
Before Christ, Our Lord, came into the world, Saint Michael 
was the Delegate Judge of Christ Our Redeemer. 
Universal King and Judge of the ages. Currently, the 
Redeemer pronounces all sentences through this 
Holy Archangel until the final day of the Universal Judgment, 
which He will celebrate through His own person, approving 
and confirming all the sentences that Saint Michael has 
given in the individual judgment of each human being, 
which takes place at the end of life.
Example
Don Pedro de Luna, the first Count of Morata and Viceroy 
of Aragon, served a knight devoted to Saint Michael, but 
very vicious and dissolute. Once, the Lord visited him 
with a dangerous illness, and although he knew he was 
about to die, they could not persuade him to confess, 
because his great sins made him distrust God's mercy. 
He then remembered Saint Michael, and Saint Michael
remembered him, because appearing to the sick man, 
he encouraged him to trust in the Lord's mercy, and 
told him that God, through his intercession, had 
granted him three hours to confess and repent of 
his sins. Not content with this favor, the Archangel
himself went to the Convent of Santo Domingo to 
ask for a priest, to whom the sick man confessed 
with many tears and sorrow for his sins. and told 
the confessor about the favor he had received from 
Saint Michael, and three hours later he died, leaving 
everyone with sure hopes of his eternal salvation.
Final Prayer for Every Day
O God, our refuge and strength! 
We supplicantly implore your mercy, 
so that through the intercession of the ever-
Immaculate Virgin and our Mother, Mary, 
and of the glorious Saint Michael the Archangel, 
you may deign to help us against Satan and all other 
unclean spirits who infest the world for the 
harm of mankind and the ruin of souls.
Cast them into the abyss and remove them 
from us forever. Amen.
