St. Benedict Tiny Saint
Description
In all of history, no one has contributed as much to monastic culture and influence as its founder, Benedict. The Rule of St. Benedict created for monks a balanced and reasonable approach to a life of prayer and work. Sadly, some people were envious of Benedict’s influence. One man even tried to kill him with poisoned bread, but a raven flew down and grabbed the loaf! This incident was one of many miracles that allowed Benedict to persist in his vocation - one that changed the world forever.
